The ESN program at Montgomery Jr. High is a small, structured classroom community for students who need individualized support to thrive. We use research-based practices to build academic skills, real-world independence, and self-regulation — while making sure every student feels like they genuinely belong here. Small group. Big goals. Whole kid.
Not bragging, I promise...
This video captures the teaching philosophy and belief in students that we bring to every single part of our ESN program at Montgomery Jr. High. Watch it, and you will understand exactly why we do what we do.

This video was filmed at Herbert Slater Middle School, where our program was based before merging with Montgomery Jr. High. It is a few years old — yes, we know — but every single component you see still reflects exactly how our classroom runs today. Consider it a sneak peek with a change of scenery.
