Daily updates, behavior tracking, and direct messaging — all in one place
ClassDojo is the single most important tool for staying connected to your child's school day. It is how Mrs. King communicates with every family — not occasionally, but daily. Think of it less like a school app and more like a direct line to the classroom.
Please sign up as soon as you receive your child's code. At the start of the year, Mrs. King will send home an individual access code for your student. That code is your key — without it, you will miss real-time updates, daily behavior reports, and important announcements. Do not wait
Message us before a hard morning
If your child had a rough night, a change in routine, or something is off — send a quick note before they arrive. Even two sentences helps us meet them at the door with the right support.
Send appointment and absence info ahead of time
Letting us know about late arrivals, early pick-ups, or medical appointments in advance helps the team prepare transitions for your student and keeps the day running smoothly.
Check the behavior report — it tells the story of the day
Points are not just a number. They reflect how your student engaged with expectations, managed transitions, and participated in their program. Reviewing them together at home builds accountability and connection.
Watch for your child's access code
Mrs. King will send home an individual ClassDojo code at the start of the year. This code is unique to your student — keep it somewhere safe.
Download the app or open classdojo.com
ClassDojo works on any device — smartphone, tablet, iPad, or computer. Download the free app or visit the website to create your parent account.
Enter your code and connect
Use your child's code to link your account to their profile. Once connected, you will immediately have access to messages, updates, and the behavior tracker.
Turn on notifications
Enable push notifications so you never miss a message. Time-sensitive updates — like a behavior concern or a same-day schedule change — come through ClassDojo first.
"Every student in our program is magic. Our Instagram is where we spread that magic, proudly, and without apology."
Our Instagram exists for one purpose: to show the world what inclusion actually looks like. Not a polished highlight reel — real kids, real moments, real joy. We are passionate educators who embrace the awkward and dive headfirst into the shenanigans, and we want you along for the ride.
Your consent is everything. Photo release forms are sent home at the start of every school year. No student appears on our account without a signed release from their family
Representation matters. When our students show up on a screen — laughing, learning, leading — they become visible in a world that too often overlooks them. We post to normalize, not to spotlight. Our students are not inspiration — they are just kids doing kid things, and that is exactly the point.
Every post is a celebration — of a skill earned, a moment of connection, a friendship formed across a classroom divide. We highlight what our students can do, how they show up for each other, and what genuine inclusion looks like in action.
Middle school is wild. Special education is misunderstood. We are here to change both of those narratives. If our page makes one person smile, think differently, or feel less alone — it is doing its job. #MiddleSchoolMagic is real, and we have the receipts..
